The History of JR Computer Associates Inc.

JR Computer Associates started as a school paper between two guys in 1995. Back then they had dreams of running interstellar space ports, building deep ocean bases, and becoming the next Bill Gates. That thrill for leading edge technology motivated them to focus their education on programming and mathematics.

In May of 2004, JR Computer Associates finally became a reality. They purchased a set of servers, had them housed with Implex.net in downtown Minneapolis, and began finding new and exciting clients that they could help bring to the web.

Using their highly innovative and easy to use content management system (codename: OXWAF or Online eXtensible Web Applications Framework) they soon found much success. OXWAF provided a quick way to turn out complex sites that featured everything from blogging abilities to full fledged ecommerce.

Today, Oxwaf has been replaced by JR's lighter weight content management system called Sunfox. It provides an easy solution for people who wish to edit their webpages without needing to "upload", "install software", or "learn code". Sunfox continues to pave the way to JR's success as we have now served (or are serving) over 100 clients.
